CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, Apr 14 and 10 A.M. 19_--3-6
'he City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 10 o'clock A.M. April 14,1935.
Present : Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman who announced that the purpose of the
meeting was to complete the transaction, so far as the City of Sanford is concerned,
with the Directors and Trustees of Lake Front Improvement Company, represented by
Erskine IT.. Landis and the Board of County Commissioners whereby Lots, 3,4,6, and 5 to 19,
both inclusive, Lake View Park Subdivision, become the property of Seminole County,
Lots 20 to 40 both inclusive, Lots 45 to 54, both inclusive, End Lot H, including
riparian rights, of the same subdivision become the property of the City of Sanford,
and Lots 1 and 2 and 41 to 47 , both inclusive, Lots D & E. and Lot G, including riparian
rights, of said subdivision are retained by the Directors and Trustees of said Lake
Front Improvement Co.
Thereupon Mr. Landis tendered to the Commission deed of conveyance from the
Directors and Trustees of Lake Front Improvement Company to the City of Sanford, Florida.,
of Lots 20 to 40, both inclusive, Lots 45 to 54, both inclusive, and Lot H, including
riparian rights, of Lake View Park.
Commissioner Lee then introduced Resolution No. 527 and upon it being read
in full, moved its passage and adoption.

A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 15339, LAWS OF FLORIDA, ACTS OF 1937,
CANCELING CERTAIN TAX CERTIFICATES AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST CERTAIN LOTS,
PIECES OR PARCELS OF LAND SITUATE IN LAKE VIEW PARK, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEREOF OF
RECORD IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLZ COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN MAP BOOK 3, PAGE 41,
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE CONVEYANCE OF PORTIONS OF SAID LAKE VIEW PARK TO THE CITY OF
SANFORD , FLORIDA, AND SEIINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
"WHEREAS, Section lof Chapter 18339, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1937, entitled,
AN ACT to Authorize Seminole County, Florida. and City of oanf ord, Florida, to Accept
Conveyances of Certain Lands in the City of Sanford, Seminole County, Florida, and to
Cancel Certain State and County Tax Certificates and State and County Taxes and Certain City
of Sanford, Florida, Tax Certificates and Taxes and Special Assessments Upon Said Lands
to Be Conveyed to Seminole County, Florida, and City of Sanford, Florida, and Certain Other
Lands in the City of Sanford, Florida., Upon the Conveyance to Seminole County, Florida,
and to the City of Sanford, Florida, of Certain of Said Lands in the City of Sanford,
Seminole County Florida ", provides 11 that upon conveyance to Seminole County, Florida,

Florida, for the years subsequent to the years for which the aforesaid Tax Certificates
were issued, and taxes.to be levied by said City for the year 1937, shall be canceled,
and the City Clerk of the City of 6anford, Florida, and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Seminole County, Florida, shall note such cancellation upon their respective records,
and all special assessments, whether due or to become due for public improvements
heretofore made by said City of Sanford, Florida, and evidenced by liens held by said
City, shall be canceled, and the City Clerk of said City shall note such cancellation
upon the public records of his office, provided that the conveyance of the aforesaid
property shallbDe made and accepted on or before July 1, 1938; and,
WHEREAS, George P. 11itman, B.M. Gallaway, Cary D. Landis, Erskine W. Landis
and Myrtle Loyd Mertz, as and constituting the Directors and Trustees `of Lake Front
Improvement Company, a former corporation organized under the Laws of the State of Florida.
and heretofore dissolved under the provisions of Chapter 16850, of the Laws of Florida,
the owners of the above described property, have this day tendered to Seminole County
Florida, a deed of conveyance of the aforesaid Lots, 3,4, 6 and 8 to 19, both inclusive
of said LAKE VIEW PARK, which said deed has been accepted by said Seminole County,
Florida, and have this day tendered to the City of 6anford, Florida, a deed of conveyance
of said lots 20 to 40, both inclusive, and lots 48 to 54, both inclusive, and Lot H, includ-
ing riparian rights, of said LAKE VIES!' PARK;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida, that the aforesaid deed of conveyance from the Directors and Trustees of
Lake Front Improvement Company to the City of �anf ord, Florida, of said Lots 20 to 40,
both inclusive, and lots 48 tj �4 both inclusive, and Lot H, including riparian rights,
of said LAYS VIE1 PARK, be and the same is hereby accepted; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
that the aforesaid tax certificates which are hereinafter more specifically enumerated and
described and all subsequent taxes assessed by the City of Sanford, Florida, including

taxes for the year 1937, against all of the lands and premises hereinafter described,
and all special assessments against the above described property conveyed to Seminole
County, Florida, and City of Sanford, Florida, and also lots 1 and 2 and lots 41,42,43
44, 45, 46, and 47, and Lots D and E, and Lot G, including riparian rights , of said
LAKE VIEW PARK, which last described lots are being retained by the aforesaid Directors
and Trustees of said Lake Front Improvement Company, be and the same are hereby can-
celed, and declared to be of no further force and effect, and the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Seminole County, Florida, is authorized and directed to note such cancellation.
of the aforesaid Tax Certificates on the records thereof in his office, and the City
Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
cancel the aforesaid Tax Certificates and subsequent taxes upon the records of his said
office, and likewise to cancel the said special assessment liens upon the records thereof
in his said office, the aforesaid Tax Certificates and special assessment Liens being
hereby specifically enumerated as follows:
