We offer to deed to the City what is known as the Lane property, for a credit
memorandum of $3500.00 , to be applied on above listed taxes. It being understood
that taxes are to be liquidated 50;6, by September lst, and balance by September
30th., or any un -used part of the credit memo to be forfeited. Taxes are to be paid
piece by piece on a basis of 70% cash, and 30% applied on credit memo. Would
also desire the City to give me an option to purchase back that part of the Lane
Property north of First Street any time within six months for a cash price of
$2500.00."
Thereupon, after careful consideration and in view of the desirability of that
portion of the property to be deeded to the City lying south of First Street as a
site for the proposed new Seminole County Hospital, for which the City has agreed
to donate a site, the Clerk was authorized to advise Mr. Wight that his proposal
would be acceptable to the City if that part having to do with an option to repurchase
that part of the Lane property lying north of First street is stricken from such
proposal, and if the cash to be paid for the taxes is set at $9,000.00, leaving
$3371.15 to be paid for the property to be deeded to the City.
There being no further business, the meeting then adjourned.
