The City Commission of the City of 6anf ord, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 O'Clcck P.11. July 6, 1 31.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman
The first order of business was the presentation to the Commissiom by the City
Tax Assessor of the Preliminary Tax Roll of the City of Sanford, Florida, for the year 1931.
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to sit as an Equalization Board to hear any com-
plaints as to the assessed valuations as placed on said Preliminary Tax Roll.
Thereupon the following objections as to assessed valuations were registered with
the Commission and filed for investigation; the request in each case being for a reduction
in the assessed value as now placed on the Roll:

There being no further objections presented, the meeting adjourned as a Equalizatior.
Board and reconvened for the purpose of transacting any other business that may come before it.
The Clerk then read communication from LIEngle & Shands, representing the City
of Sanford Bond Holders Protective Committee, agreeing to pay $1500.00 towards the cost of
publishing the delinquent 1930 tax roll, bid from the Sanford Herald at a flat price of
$2,500.00 having been heretofore received.
Communication also read from the Seminole County Sentinel making a bid of 30 cents
per line for'the publishing of the delinquent 1930 Real Estate Tax list.
Thereupon Commissionfer Leffler offered the motion that the action taken at the
adjourned meeting of June 30th. calling for the POSTING of the delinquent 1930 real estate
tax list be rescinded and that this tax list be PUBLISHED in the Sanford Herald at a cost
of $2500.00 , with the understanding that the Bondholders Protective Committee will pay
$1500.00, the City to pay the balance from the Contingent Fund.
Seconded by Commissioner Speer and unanimously carried.
The meeting then adjourned.
