May 14, 1929• Present: Commissioner Nelson Gray, Mayor. " S 0 Chase. n R A Newman Vivian A Speer City Attorney, Fred R Wilson City Clerk, F S Lamson City Manager, G H Cairns. Absent: Commissioner Frank L Miller The Clerk presented final estimates, prepared by Fred T Williams and approved by the City Manager in favor of the Hutton Construction Company,for completion of paving on Palmetto Avenue between Geneva and Woodruff Streets, Woodruff Street between P almetto Ave. and Sanford Ave.; Third Street between Avacado and Persimmon Avenues; and Persimmon Avenue from First to Third Street; Scott Avenue from Seminole Boulevard to Eighth Street; Union Ave, Fourth St. and Eighth St. from Summerlin Avenue to Scott Avenue; and Franklin Street between Park Avenue and Oak Avenue, amounting in all to $697+.00 Thereupon, Commissioner Gray moved that the estimates be approved and that the Clerk be instructed to draw check on the Bond Trustees Account in payment of these estimates, suitable deductions to be made on account of slag purchased from the City by the Hutton Construction Co., amounting to $750.00, and also for freight paid by the City for the Hutton Construction Company, amounting to $1063.28 Seconded by Commissioner Newman, and the roll being called the votes stands as follows: Commissioner Gray Aye " Chases Aye " Newman ' - Aye " Speer Aye The Clerk was also instructed to transfer from the Ordinary Fund to the Bond Trustees Account at the First National Bank, the sum of $5160.72 and to charge this amount against the amount owed to the Bond Trustees Fund by the Ordinary Fund.
