The City Commission of the City of Sanford met in adjourned session at the City
Hall in Sanford Florida at Ten 0.'Clock A M June 29, 1929

Absent: Commissioner Nelson Gray, Mayor
Commissioner Newman moved that Commissioner Miller be appointed Chairman of the
Seconded by Commissioner Chase and unanimously adopted.
Thereupon Commissioner Miller took the Chair.
Commissioner Speer next offered Resolution N.o. 382, which was seconded by Commissio
Chase and unanimously adopted by the following vote:

Said Resolution being in words and figures as follows:-
WHEREAS, The First National Bank of Sanford, Florida, and the Sanford Atlantic
National Bank of Sanford, Florida are holding certain General Term City of Sanford bonds,
bearing interest at the rate of Six Per Centum per annum, and,
WHEREAS, The City of Sanford, Florida, is holding , as an investment of the Gas
Plant Sinking Fund, certain General Term City of Sanford bonds, bearing interest at the rate
of Five and One Half per centum per annum, and
WHEREAS, as a measure of economy, the City of Sanford,, Florida, has suggested
and requested the said First National Bank of Sanford, Florida, and the said Sanford Atlantic
National Bank of Sanford, Florida, to exchange the bonds they hold for a like number of bonds
now held by the City of Sanford in the Gas Plant Sinking Fund, and ,
WHEREAS, the Saif First National Bank of Sanford, Florida, and the said Sanford Atlas
National Bank of Sanford, Florida, have agreed to such an exchange.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed, to deliver to the First National Bank of Sanford, Florida, in exchange for a like
number and denomination of City of Sanford General Bonds now held by the First National Bank
Sanford, Florida, the following General Bonds of the City of Sanford, Florida, held as an
investment of the Gas Plant Sinking fund:
Improvement Bonds Nos 468 to 478, both numbers inclusive dated July 1, 1922, and due
July 1, 1952, bearing interest at the rate of Five and One -Half (52% ) Per centum per annum.

Public Improvement bonds Nos 12 and 15 to 28, both numbers inclusive dated July 2
1923, and due Jay 21 1953, bearing interest at the rate of Five and One -half �5j %) per centum
per annum.
Be IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk, be , and he is hereby authorized and
directed , to deliver to the Sanford Atlantic National Bank of Sanford Florida, in exchange
for a like number and denomination of City of Sanford General bonds now held by the Sanford
Atlantic National Bank of Sanford, Florida, the following General Bonds of the City of Sanford
held as an investment of the Gas Plant Sinking Fund:
Improvement Bonds Nos. 464 to 467, both numbers inclusive, dated July 1, 1922, and
due July 1, 1952, bearing interest at the rate of Five and one -half (5j %) per centum per annum.
Adopted this 29th day of June A D 1929.
