The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned Sessiom
at the City Hall in Sanford, Florida, September 12, 1929 at
Present: Commissioner Nelson, Gray - Mayor

Absent: Commissioner, S 0 Chase

The first matter to come befor4 the Commission was the consideration of object-
ions registered with the Commission sitting as a Tax Equalization Board on September 9, 1929•

After duly considering each of /objections filed, and upon motion duly adopted,
reductions were made in the following assessments:
Lot 2 Blk 16 Chapman & Tucker Addition - reduced to $1000.00
Personal Property - Mrs A Simon , - reduced to ----- 750.00
No changes were made in other assessments.
Mr Linton Allen, President of the Sanford Atlantic National Bank appeared before
the Commission relative to action taken by the Commission under date of August 26, 1929,
whereby the following collateral securities:
City of Winter Haven, Florida, paving Bonds -- -- ---- $5,000.00
Town of Madison, Improvement bonds------ 5,000.00
Town of DeFuniak Springs , Fla, Walton County Bonds- - ----- 5,000.00
heretofore deposited by the Sanford Atlantic National Bank as security for City of Sanford
funds on deposit in said bank had been refused and the bank requested to exchange them for
Government bonds or depository bond.
After discussion of the matter, Commissioner Newman moved that this action be
rescinded, and that these Municipal Bonds already deposited as security be accepted.
Seconded by Commissioner Miller and adopted by the following vote:
