MINUTES
CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, Adjourned Meeting
October 1 at 2 P M.
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned session at the
City Hall in Sanford Florida, at Two O'Clock P M October 1, 1929•
Present Commissioner Nelson Gray, Mayor.

City Attorney, Fred R Wilson
City Clerk F S Lamson
Absent: Commissioner, S 0 Chase.
On motion duly adopted, invoice of Randall Electric Company for $25.20 covering re-
pairs to light cable in parkway on Second Street East of Magnolia Ave., was approved and
ordered paid.
On motion duly adopted, invoice of Lee Brothers for $2,029.08 covering purchase of
pipe to extend water service to cemetery, said'purchase having been heretofor4 authorized by
the Commission, was approved and the Clerk instructed to draw check in payment of same.
On motion of Commissioner Gray, seconded by Commissioner Speer and unanimously adopt-
ed, the Clerk was instructed to transfer #10,000.00 from the interest account at the Sanford Al
lantic National Bank, to the Ordinary Fund ( checking Account) at the Sanford Atlantic Nati
Bank.
On motion duly adopted, the following 1929 tax valuati= adjustments were made:
Florida Power & Light Co. Personal Assessment reduced to------- 299,300.00
Lot 9 Blk 17 Tier 1 " a 2,000.00
Lot 2 Blk 3 Tier 11 " a 1,900.00
The matter of license tax charged out -of -town bakeries was next brought up for
consideration, and after a thorough discussion,
Commissioner Gr4y moved that the license tax charged out -Of -town bread vendors be
reduced to $50.00 per year.
