The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida , met in adjourned Regular
Session at the City Hall , Sanford Florida at two O'C1ock P M , November 27, 1929•

Minutes of adjourned session of November 12th, adjourned session of November
15th, adjourned session of November 19th, and Regular Session of November 25th, 1929
read and approved.
Mr A V French came before the Commission with a petition for reduction of past
due City taxes on the following property:
Fraction N E 1/4 of N W 1/4 of Sec. 36 Tp. 19 S. R. 30 E-
N 1/4 of S E 1/4 of N w 1/4 of Sec. 36 Twp. 19 S. R. 30 E.
Total delinquent City taxes on above property -------------------- $7264.10 -
Mr French stated his inability to pay the above taxes as they stand, but that he
will be able to negotiate a loan on his property to pay the taxes as ii:.reduced, and

that the:•,B6&rd;'.of :0ou%i/ty Commissioners ; sitting as a Tax Equalization Board had already
agreed to lower past due State and County Taxes Seventy -five per cent.
After considerable discussion, and with a view to placing this property back on a
tax- paying basis, Commissioner Newman moved that the past due City Taxes against the
foregoing property be reduced Seventy -five per cent, provided that the State and County
taxes are reduced in the same proportion, and provided further that these past due taxes
be paid not later than Jan0ary 1, 1930.
Seconded by Commissioner Miller and carried by the following vote:

Newman Aye
The Clerk next presented promissory note signed by R C Bower and H C Morgan, for
$340.00, dated Nov' --15, -1929 and due one year from date, as payment on lease dated
Nov. 15, 1927, between R 0- Bower and the City of Sanford for Lots 2 and 4 and the S. part
of Lot 8 Blk X, St Gertrude Addition, Sanford Florida.
