CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, July 12th. at 7—*M p_1L_ 9 -5,
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at the City
1 in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 7:30 o'clock P. M., July 12th, 1935•
Present: Commissioner T. L. Dumas, Mayor.

City Attorney Fred R•Ailson.
City Clerk F• S•Lamson.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then proceeded to a careful study and analysis of anticipated revenues
during the fiscal year 1935 -36, particular thought being given to ways and means for making up
the loss in operating revenues resulting from the adoption of the homestead exemption amendment.
Consideration was next given to the question of bond debt settlement, definite action bei
deferred pending receipt of information as to how other defaulted Florida cities are handling
this problem.
Before adjournment, the Chairman presented a report by Supt. Moughton showing the total,
cost of materials for back stops for the negro tennis court at 9th St' and Sanford Avenue to be
$ 35.00.
Thereupon Commissioner Speer moved that the City donate the necessary materials for the
back stops for this tennis court.
Seconded by Commissioner Lehman and carried,
The meeting then adjourned.
