The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Hal Welch at 4:38
P.M.
Kay Bartholomew moved to approve the Minutes of February 6, 1992.
Seconded by Monte Olinger and carried by unanimous vote.
Chris Cranias, ChristoIs Classics, was present and submitted an
Application for Certificate of Appropriateness to add anew roof on
existing walls, in the back of the building, at 107 West First
Street.
Discussion was held regarding the new roof for the building at 107
West First Street. The Board concurred to complete the remaining
business on the Agenda and adjourn to 107 West First Street in
order to view the existing walls and take action on the
application.
Vincent Pompo, Vincent Jewelers, submitted an Application for
Certificate of Appropriateness to hang a 36" X 11" wood sign with
engraved letters under the awning at 205 East First Street, Suite
E.
Monte Olinger moved to deny the Application for Certificate of
Appropriateness for the sign at 205 East First Street, requesting
additional information on the style and size of the engraved
letters, the color of the stain and have Mr. Pompo attend the next
meeting. Seconded by Chris Cranias and carried by unanimous vote.

A discussion was held regarding the plaque for Hopper Academy. Ms.
Bentley presented a photograph of Hopper Academy. She stated that
it was the most representative photograph of the period. The top
portion of the building was not shown in the photograph. The Board
requested Mrs. Turner contact Billy Higgins, the artist at Disney,
to see if anything could be done to the photograph.
Chris Cranias moved to accept the photograph and to forward it to
Billy Higgins to determine if the photograph could be used or if a
line drawing would be required. Seconded by Monte Olinger and
carried by unanimous vote.
Monte Olinger moved the meeting be adjourned to 107 West First
Street. Seconded by Lynn Stogner and carried by unanimous vote.
_A discussion was held regarding the new roof at 107 West First
Street. Mr. Cranias stated the roof would have a 2 ft. pitch with
proper gutters. Chris Cranias is the applicant and abstained from
voting.
Kay Bartholomew moved to approve the Application for Certif icate of
Appropriateness to add a new roof on the existing walls to the
building at 107 West First Street. Seconded by Monte Olinger and
carried by unanimous vote, with Chris Cranias abstaining from the
vote.
As there was no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 5:08 P.M.
