The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida,
Present: Commissioner T.L.Dumas, MW or.

Meeting called to order by,the Chairman.
Thereupon Commissioner Lehman introduced Ordinance No. 246 entitled:
" AN ORDINANCE TO LICENSE CERTAIN TYPES OF COIN - OPERATED DEVICES; TO REQUIRE THE
PAYMENT OF AN ANNUAL LICENSE TAX AND FIXING AMOUNT THEREOF, TO REGULATE THE
OPERATION THEREOF, TO DEFINE CERTAIN TYPES OF COIN - OPERATED DEVICES;PROVIDING
FOR THE DISPOSITION OF REVENUES RECEIVED FROM SUCH LICENSE TAXES; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES PROHIBITING GAMBLING DEVICES SO FAR AS
THEY ARE IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE
VIOLATION OF THE PROVISION HEREOF."
and same was placed on its first reading and read in full by the Clerk.
Thereupon Commissioner Shinholser moved that the rules be waived and said
Ordinance No. 246 be placed on its final passage and adoption.
Seconded by Commissioner Lehman.
Thereupon the question recurred upon the waivure of the rules. The roll was
called and the vote stands as follows:

Thereupon said ordinance No. 246 was placed upon its final passage and adoption,
the vote being as follows:

Thereupon the Chairman announced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford
Florida, by unanimous vote, had passed and adopted said Ordinance No. 246, entitled:
An Ordinance to license certain types of coin - operated devices, to requirs the
payment of an annual license tax and fixing amount thereof; to regulate the operation
thereof, to define certain types of coin- operated devices; providing for the disposition
of revenues received from such license taxes; repealing all ordinance or parts of
ordinances prohibiting gambling devices so far as they are in conflict with this ordinance
and providing a penalty for the violation of the provisions hereof.
On motion duly carried . Ordinance No. 246 was ordered POSTED atthe front door
of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida.
The meeting then adjourned.
