Meeting called to order by the Mayor, and c~lled for report on bids for Street Paving
City Engineer reported tabulation of bids, showing only two bids submitted on street
paving.
Bid No.1, Hutton Construction Company .......... $296,002.00
Bid No. 2, Deen ,Yarborough and Eberbach Con-
struction Company .................. 283,501.00
Bi~ No. 3 Interstate Contracting Company
Bid on sewers only ................ 67,860.00
After due discussion and consideration, Messrs Deen,Yarborough and Eberbach Constructio~
Company withdrew their bid and the eontraCt was awarded to the Hutton Construction Company.
Bid covered the gradi~, drainage and paving of the following streets and avenues:
Third Street from Avacado Ave. to Persimmon Ave.
Persi~on Ave. from First St. to Third St.
Maple Ave.
Holly Ave.
Cedar Ave.
from Colonial St.
from Colonial St.
from Colonial St.
to Central St.
