3. City Clerk administer Oaths of Office to Commissioner-Elect A. A. "Mac" McClanahan,
District 3; and Commissioner-Elect Whitey Eckstein, District 4.

The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Flori;d~!met in a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 1999, at
7:00 P.M.. in the City Commission Room, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present:
Mayor-Commissioner Larry A. Dale
Commissioner Whitey Eckstein
Commissioner Velma H. Williams
Commissioner Brady Lessard
Commissioner Kerry D. Lyons
City Manager Tony VanDerworp
City Clerk Janet R. Dougherty
City Attorney William L. Colbert
Old Business.
There being no further business to be transacted by the out-going board, Commissioner Lessard moved to
adjourn the meeting sine die. Seconded by Commissioner Williams and carried by vote of the Commission as follows:
Mayor-Commissioner Dale Aye
Commissioner Eckstein Aye
Commissioner Williams Aye
Commissioner Lessard Aye
Commissioner Lyons Aye
Reconvene.
Mayor Dale reconvened the meeting.
Oath of Office.
City Clerk Janet Dougherty administered the Oath of Office to Commissioner-Elect A. A. "Mac" McClanahan,
District 3. Mayor Dale commended Commissioner McClanahan, and Commissioner Eckstein, who was sworn in earlier today.
Mayor Dale presented a plaque and original painting to Commissioner Lyons in recognition of his service..
Commissioner McClanahan was seated.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjoumed.
