Present: Commissioner E F Housholder, Nayor. City Clerk, S 0 Chase Frank L Miller Y S Lamson in adjourned session at the Einutes of adjourned sessions of December 26, 27th 28, ~nd 29th read and approved. Payrolls and invoices for December 1928 as evidenced by vouchers nos. 1347, 1349 to' 1354 Inc. 1356, 1364 to 1366 inc. 1370 to 1372 inc. 1377 to 1382 inc. and Bond rrustess voucher No. 21 approved for payment. The Clerk was instructed to reduce the collateral security furnished by the First National Bank of S~nford, and the Sanford Atlantice National Bank to the amount of City of Sanford deposits in said banks, which will leave the following collateral security at each bank: Sanford Atlantic National Bank - Depository Bond .................... $50,000.00 First National Bank ,Sanford - Trust Receipt for $67,000.00 City of Sanford Bonds , Series A-1 ..... $67,000.00 Upon motion duly adopted the Clerk was instructed that no 1928 Real Estate Taxes on any property shall be accepted unless and until all previous year's taxes are paid on said property. Upon motion duly adopted the Clerk was instructed to transmit to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for recording and collection, all 1927 Tax certificates; the Clerk of the Circuit Court having made a price of Five Cents per line for the recording of same. Nr E B Randall, of the Randall Electric Company appeared before the Commission and offered to purchase of the City of Sanford four bonds, Series A-l, dated January 1, 1928 bearir~ interest at the rate of 6 per centum per annum, payable semi-annually, at and for the price of $4,000.00. Nr Randall also agreed, that in lieu of cash he would issue a credit memorandum in exchange for the above bands, to apply on the balance owed the Randall Electric Co. in Official Refina~ming Document A-l, said balance being $4206~24 Thereupon, in view of the fact that the A-1 issue of City of Sanford Bonds aze to be used to pay the liabilities included in Official Refinancing Document A-l, and as the account of the Randall Electric Co. is included in said list of liabilities, Commissioner Chase moved that the offer of Mr Randall be accepted. Seconded by Commissioner Niller and unanimously adopted. Thereupon E F Housholder, as ~ayor and Y $ Lamson as City Clerk were authorized and instructed to execute Bonds Nos. 581 to 584 Inc. Series A-1 dated January l, 1928 and due January l, 1951, drawir~ interest at the rate of 6 per cent per ~nnum, with interest coupons due~January l, 1929, detached, and deliver same to the Randall Electric Co., receiving there- from receipt for same and credit memorandum for $4,000.00 to apply against the balance due the R~ndall Electric Co. included in Official Refinancing Docmuent A-1 The Clerk was also instructed to draw check on the Bond Trustees Refinancing Bond Fund at the Sanford Atlantic National Bank of $206.24, payable to the Randall Electric Comoan¥. said ~mount reoresentin~ the balance due the R~nd~ll CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD. FLORIDA, miNUTES Adjourned Session Jan 2, at 2 P M 19 29 503 was approved, Avenue,/it appearing that the Handall Electric Co. purchased this material in good faith on order from the City prior to the closing of the Seminole County B~mk. Mr Randall was instructed to deliver the material to the City Store Room. Commissioner Miller offered the following resolution: WHEREAS, certain property owners, located in the vicinity of Third St. and Park Ave, where the Commission had heretofore granted the privilege of erecting a gasoline filling station, having appeared before the Commission and asked the Commission for the privilege of being heard, and the Oommission recognizing that the resolution granting per- mission to erect the filling station had been passed without said property owners having had an opportunity to appear before the Board, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved, that said action taken on December llth, 1928 granting permission to erect a gasoline filling Station on the south east corner of Third Street and Park Avenue , be hereby rescinded, in order to allow said property owners to show cause why said permit should not be granted. The vote being taken stands as follows: Commissioner Housholder Aye , Chase Aye , Miller Aye Thereupon the Chairman announced that the Commission by its unanimous vote had passed said Resolution.
