The Commission then proceeded to a further study of the budget of revenues and
penditures for fiscal year 1953-1955,
aopropriatlons and making adjustments,
and adjustments in order to bring the

In considering the appropriat~on for the Ind~strial Board, Commissioner Stamper

The City Manager was then requested to prepare a report on the complete revision of
the budget and present as soon as Ooeaible.
On motion of Commissioner S~emper, seconded by Commissioner Ivey and carried, the
Commission authorized and directed that an advertisement be placed in the newspaper for bide
on ourchase of an electric typewriter for the Clerk's office.
On motion of Com~nissloner Ivey, seconded by Commissioner Cordell and unanimously
carried, the City Attorney was instructed to draft an Ordinance to change the water rates
structure to coincide with rates ae recommended by the Fiscal Agents; rates to be effective
October l, 1953.
There being no ~urther business the meeting adjourned.
