The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
Florida on the 31st. day of

met at the Oity Hall at Sanford
May A.D.1926, at Two P.M.

At Two O'clock P.M. the Chairman announced that the hou~ had arrived for the opening
of bids for the purchase of three issues of bonds, aggregating the sum of $?34,000.00
authorized by resolutions Nos. 2?5, 2?6 and 2??, adopted by the Oity Commission of the City
of Sanford, Florida on the 26th day of April A.D1926.
Thereupon all sealed bids received by the 0ity Commission were ordered to be opened
and read, and the following bids were then and there opened and read:
(1) Wright , Warlow & Co. (A)
2. Farson Son and Co.
(B)
For ~34,000.00 b~nds, ~ea~ing interest at the rate
of 6% per annum $720,93~.00 with accrued interest
to date of delivery; no additional bonds bf the City
of Sanford Florida, to be offered for sale prior to
the expiration of sixty days after delivery of the
bonds offered for sale on May 31st. 1926.
For $734,OOO.0~ bonds bearing interest
at.the
rate
of
5~% per annum $?07,~69.S0 with accrued mnterest to
date f delivery, no&dditional bonds of the City of
Sanford Florida to be offered f~r sale prior to the
expiration of sixty days after delivery of the bonds
offered for sale on May 31st. 1926.
For $734,000.00 Bonds, bearing interest at the r ate of
6% per annum - $?34,O00.00 without accrued Interest,
upon c&ndition if bid accepted, purchaser shall have
the right to accept bonds in blocks of $100,000.00
or more monthly.

of 5~ per annum $527,040.00 with accrued interest
to date of delivery.
For $81,000.00 B~nds, bearing interest at the rate
of 6% per annum $78,189.30 with accrued interest
to date of delivery.
For $104,000.00 bonds, bearing interest at the rate
of 6% per a~unum- $100,391.20 with accrued interest to
the date of delivery.
After due consideration of the bids submitted, all of said b~ds were rejected.
Clerk was then directed to retumn to each bidder the good faith check submitted with each
Mr L E White, Mr R A Newman s.nd Mm J H Jackson came before the Commission asking
ia donation to the Fourth of July Celebration.
On motion duly adopted, the 01erk was authorized to pay for same $1,000.O0,
ioharge to contingent fund.
There being no further business a recess was taken until June 1st. A.D.1926.
