City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned session at the

meeting of December 24, 1928 read and a?~proved.

follows:
Resolution No. 3?7
WHEREAS, the books and records of the city of Sanford Florida show it is indebted to the
Florida ~{cCracken Concrete Pipe Company, a corporation, in the Sum of $5,665.82 , and,
WHEREAS, said indebtedness is carried by the City of Sanford Florida, as an open account,
and
said bonds to be
1929, and prior
tached, and
'~HEREAS, said indebtedness to the Florida McCracken Concrete Pipe Company has been reduced
to the extent of $812.O0 by the payment of certain taxes due the City of Sanford, Florida, by
the Florida NcCracken Concrete Pipe Company, leaving a balance due by the City to said Company
of the sum of $4,853.82, and,
WHEREAS, the Florida NcCracken Concrete Pipe Company has offered to purchase of and from
the City of Sanford, Florida, Five (5) bonds of the City of Sanford Florida, to-wit:
Bonds Nos 541 to 545 , both numbers inclusive, of the denomination of $1000.00 each, of an
authorized issue of bonds of the City of Sanford Florida in the aggregate sum of $693,000.00
known as Series "Al" dated the 1st day of January 1928, bearing interest at the rate of
5~ and 6 per centum per annum, the bonds above described, however, bearing interest at the
rate of 6 per centum per annum, at and for the par value of said bonds, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the bonds above described be, and the same, are, hereby sold to the
Florida McOracken Concrete Pipe Company, at and for the par value thereof, amounting to $5,000~0
delivered to the Florida McCracken Concrete Pipe Company as of January 1st,
to the delivery thereof the interest coupons maturing on said date be de-
BE IT FURTI~ER RESOLVED, that the proceeds received by the City from the sale of said bonds
purchased by the Florida ~cCracken Concrete Pipe Company be used to pay, liquidate, and dis-

charge the indebtedness as aforesaid now due and payable by the
Florida ~cCracken Concrete Pipe Company.

Seconded by Commissioner Chase and unanimously adopted.
Mr A D Zachary appeared before the Commission with reference to payment of note dated
January l, 1926 for $1,000.00; said note drawing 8 per cent interest from January 1st, 1927
making a total of $1160.00 due January l, 1929.
After a discussion of the matter, and it appearing that Mr Zachary had requested payment
of this note on or about July 1st, 1928, in order that he might pay his real and personal
taxes at that time it was agreed that Nr Zachary would accept'S40.00 less interest,
lng interest from July l, 1928 to Jan l, 1929, and would be allowed to pay the real
taxes for 1927 without additional costs or interest.
Thereupon, upon motion duly adopted, the Clerk was instructed to transfer $1120.00 from
the ordinary Fund to the Capital Fund, to be credited to the amount owed the Capital Fund
by the Ordinary Fund and to pay the ~bove mentioned note and interest by funds thus obtained,
the above obligation being a Capital Fund Indebtedness.
The Clerk was also instructed to accept~ p~¥ment of the real and personal taxes of the
Zachary Tyler ~eneer Company for the year 1927, ~mounting to $1~21.88, without the payment of
additional costs and interest.
Upon motion duly adopted ~rs Onie Z Powers was granted permission to erect glavanized iron
garage on the rear of Lot i Blk 8 Tr.
There being no further business,
