The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Soecial Called
Session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 10:OO A.N.
May 19 5.
Present: Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor.

" City Clerk H.N.Sayer.
Meeting called to order Oy the C~airman who announced, that the ouroose of the
meeting was to confer with Mr.~.T.Wolfe, Traffic Consultant, and to examine the final
reoort of the survey of the local freight rate structure, as oreoared by him in
accordance wit~ agreement authorized by the Commission under,dare'of December 2,19~3.
Mr. Wolfe then submitted a comorehensive reoort sh~ing several exhibits of the
existing and prooosed freight rates on several classes of commodities from Sanford to
other Florida basing points, Southern , Eastern and C.F.A. basing ooints, exolalning
in detail the comoarison, relationshio and basis for the prooosed aoolicable rates.
Also, submitted an industrial survey of the annual tonnage of freight moving to and from
the t~adlng area of Sanford. ~
Thereupon after careful examination and study of the aforesaid freight rate exhi-
bits and surveys, as a resul~ of which it was felt by the Commission that Mr. ~olfe
had prepared and submitted a satisfactory report of the local freight rate structure
together with the proposed rates that should be aoPlicable to Sanford, in accordance
with the terms of his oerformance contract.
Commissioner Hill then moved the acceptance of the aforesaid surveys and reoorts
as orepared by Mr. Wolfe , and that the City Day him the balance due in amount of
$?00.00 for h is services.
Seconded by Commissioner Lodge and carried.
On motion duly carried, the Commission nezt authorized the salary of Municioal
Judge increased to $90.00 per month ana the salary of City Attorney increased to
$100.00 per month, effective as of May 15,19~5.
There being no further business t~e meeting adjourned.
