M. .19 71 OFFICE SUPPLY COMPANY The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Called Session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 5:00 o'clock P. M. on June 24, 1971. Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore Commissioner James H. Crapps Commissioner Gordon T. Meyer Commissioner W. Vincent Roberts Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom City Attorney W. C. Hutchison, Jr. City Manager W. E. Knowles City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr. Absent: Police Chief Ben E. Butler Commissioner Meyer moved~to waive the requirement of twenty-four hours written notice, and to call the meeting into special session. Seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried by the unanimous vote of the Commission. The Mayor reported Charles Rockwell has proposed to purchase from Cobia Boats, Inc., all of the stock of Monroe Harbour, Inc., lessee of the marina on City of Sanford lakefront property, and had requested approval of the assignment of said lease. After' consideration and on motion of Commissioner Roberts, seconded by Commissioner Crapps ~and'carried, the request was approved conditioned upon the city Attorney and the attorney for the petitioner preparing documents acCeptable~to the Commission.
