The City Commission:of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in special session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock noon, December 22, 1971, for the
purpose of canvassing.the. Election Returns of the Municipal Run-off General Election held on
Pr e sent:
December 21, 1971.
Mayor-Commissioner Lee P~ Moore
Commissioner James H. Crapps
Commissioner Gordon T. Meyer
Commissioner W. Vincent Roberts
Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
Acting City Attorney Robert M. Morris
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
Absent: Police Chief Ben E. Butler
The Chairman chlled the meeting into session to canvass the returns of the Municipal
Run-o~f General Election held on December 21, 1971, for the purpose of electing two City Com-
missioners for a term of office of three years, commencing on the first Tuesday after the first
Monday in January, 1972.
Returns made by the Clerk and Inspectors of the Municipal Run-off General Election
were examined and the absentee ballots opened and examined by the City Clerk and the City
Commission and recorded, as follows:

Commissioner Meyer then moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors of the
Municipal Run-off General Election held on December 21, 1971, be accepted and the absentee
ballots be approved as recorded. Seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried.
On motion of Commissioner Meyer, seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried, the
Clerk and Inspectors working the 1971 Municipal Run-off General Election were authorized to be
paid at the rate of $1.60 per hour.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
