The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in special called session at
the City Hall in the City~.of Sanford, Florida, at 4~00 o'clock P. M~..onJanuary. 17, 1972.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore :
Commissioner A. A. McClanahan
Commissioner Gordon T. Meyer
Commissioner John G. Morris
Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
City Attorney W. C. Hutchison, Jr.
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
Absent: Police Chief Ben E. Butler
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Commissioner Stenstrom moved to waive the requirement of the twenty-four hours
written notice and to call the meeting into speCial* seSsion. Seconded by Commissioner Meyer
and carried by the unanimous vote of the Commission.
Consideration given to the proposed sale of approximately 14 acres of City property
located west of French Avenue and south of Seminole BoUlevard.
Commissioner Stenstrom moved t0 a~h°rize~proposals to be reCeived by 4:00 o'clock
P. M. on February 21, 1972, to include the following:
1. Net price to the City.
2. All fees to be paid by the Buyer, none by the City.
3. The proposed use and extent of improvements in detail.

Estimated completed value of improvements.
Starting and completion dates of the proposed~, improvements.
6. 10% earnest money to be submitted with proposal.
7. Appropriate Zoning to be provided to accomodate the accepted proposal and
the City to reserve the right to accept or reject any and all proposals
in the best interests of the City.
Seconded by Commissioner Meyer and carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
