MIDSTATELEGA
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met' in special called session at
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 4:45 Po M. on May 15, 1972.

Commissioner Stenstrom moved to waive the requirement of the twenty-four hours written
notice and to call the meeting into special session.
Seconded by Commissioner Meyer and carried
by the unanimous vote of the Commission.
The City Manager reported in accordance with instructions of the City Commission at
regular meeting of May 8, 1972, that the City Attorney and he had negotiated an offer with
F. Thomas Ustler, Ustler-Burst, Inc., Realtors, to purChase for $13,000.00 net, 1.3 acres of
City property located north of Airport Boulevard and west of Highway 17-92.
After consideration, Commissioner Stenstrom moved to authorize acceptance of the offer
contingent upon the contract containing a clause that construction of a Shopping Center would
commence on said property within a period of 12 months. Seconded by Commissioner Morris and
carried,.
Consideration next given to participation by the City in a Migrant Labor Program
sponsored by the State of Florida, and after discussion, Commissioner Morris moved to decline
participation. Seconded by Commissioner McClanahan and carried.
There being'no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
