City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock noon, December 5, 1.973, for the
purpose of canvassing the Election Returns of the .~Municipal General Election held on Decem-
ber 4, 1973.

The Chairman called the meeting into session to canvass the returns of the Municipal
Election held on December 4, 1973, for the purpose of electing a City Commissioner for a term
of office of three years, commencing on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January,
1974.
Returns made by the Clerk and Inspectors of the election were examined and the ab-
sentee ballots opened and examined by the City' clerk 'and the City commission and recorded,
as follows:

Commissioner Morris then moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors of the
Municipal General Election held December 4, 1973, be accepted and the absentee ballots be
approved as recorded. Seconded by Commissioner Meyer and carried.
Thereupon, Julian L. Stenstrom, Group I, City Commissioner, was certified as duly
elected to the office, for term to commence on the firSt Tuesday after the first Monday in
January, 1974.
On motion of Commissioner Meyer, seconded by Commissioner Morris and carried, the
Clerk and Inspectors working the 1973 Municipal General Election were authorized to be paid
at the rate of $1.60 per hour.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
