A public hearing was held in accordance with notice published in the Evening Herald on September 27, October 4, 11, 18 and 25, 1974, as follows: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ANNEXATION Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held at the Com- · mission Room in the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 7:00 o!clock P. M. on October 28, 1974, to consider the annexation of property described as follows: That portion of the SWt of the SEt of Section 14, Township 20 South, Range 30 East, lying North of the Old Orlando Road (less the E 523 feeti::thereof); and the SEt of the SWt of Section 14, Township 20 South, Range 30 East; and beginning 445.5 feet E and 1010.11 feet N of the Southwest corner of Section 14, Town~ ship 20 South, Range 30 East, run N 40° 53' E 321.2 feet, thence S 72° 25' E 358.8 feet, thence S 13° 38' E 728.6 feet, thence S to a point 289.9 feet N of the S line of said section, thence E 150 feet to the E line of the SWt of the SWt of said section, thence N to the NE corner of said SWt of SWt~ thence W to a point N of the point of beginning, thence S to the point of beginning (less the right of way of State Road No. 15 & 600). Those appearing in opposition were as follows: Dave Carrone, 109 Krider Road, owner of property adjacent to property proposed for annexation. William Welch, 118 Krider Road. Emory SPeer, Route 3, Box 376. Anthony Steglich. J. Brailey Odham, owner of property being considered for annexation, appeared in support of the request and stated that the development would be single family residences. Commissioner Meyer 'moved to authorize the City Attorney to prepare the proper ordi- nance to annex the property described in the foregoing notice of public hearing. Seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried. Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held at the Commission Room in the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. on October 28, 1974, to consider changes and amend- ments to the Zoning Ordinance'of the City of Sanford, Florida, as fol- lows: Article VIII, SUPPLIMENTARY REGULATIONS: Section 1, Planned Unit Development District; Paragraph B, Requirements and Stan- dards for Approval, shall be amended to read as follows: B. The City Attorney submitted an opinion that the debt for the proposed bond election for a drainage program would by applied on only the non-exempt value of property. On recommendation of the staff, Commissioner Meyer ~moved to accept them. Seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried. Commissioner Meyer 'moved to authorize the Atlantic National Bank to build:in the vacated utility easement on the East side of French Avenue between 15th and 18th Streets, pro- ided they install a cast iro: sewer line under the structure.
