- The City COmmission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in
the City Hall. in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon on August 12, 1975.

The Mayor announced that the meeting had been called to discuss recommendations
from the Builders Forum COmmittee.
The following topics were discussed:

Miami Curb and swale vs. Standard Curb and gutter.
Sidewalks four feet wide.
Uniform underground electric connection fees for all cities and counties.
Reduced square foot requirements for buildings and lots.
Utility Connection Fee.
Overhead electric service be allowed to low cost homes.
Water service available outside the City.
Permanent Builders Forum Committee.
Soil Cement street paving.
1. The Commission indicated approval for use of Miami Curbs and swales in resi-
dential areas recommended by the City Engineer.
2. The Commissionindicated approval.
3. The Commission offered support of items 3 and 6 with the Public Service Com-
mission.
4. Committ. ee to d%scuss with the Planning and Zoning Commission for recommenda-
tions to implement.
5. The Commission indicated to continue under the present ordinance.
7. Policy as established by the City
8. The Commission indicated reorganizing the Central Examining Board to include
developers and builders.
9. Soil Cement paving to be permitted in the City, with proper conditions.
