The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 3:30 o'clock P. M. on November 3, 1976.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore
Commissioner John G. Morris
Commissioner A. A. McClanahan
Commissioner Gordon T. Meyer
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
Absent: Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
City Attorney C. Vernon Mize, Jr.
Police Chief Ben E. Butler
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman announced that the purpose of the meeting was to consider establish-
ing more than one polling place for City Elections.
Report submitted from the City Manager and the City Clerk, reflecting sufficient
time to set up additional polling places along county precinct lines, and the estimated addi-
tional costs for same.
After discussion, Commissioner McClanahan moved to continue to use one polling
