The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 8:00 o'clock P.~M. on June 21, 1977.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore ,
Commissioner John G. Morris
Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
Commissioner A. A. McClanahan
Commissioner Eddie O. Keith
City Attorney C. Vernon Mime, Jr.
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
Police Chief Ben E. ~Butler
Absent-
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Letter submitted from Margaret McCormick, Interior Designer, 707 South Brevard
Avenue, Tampa, quoting a flat fee of $6,500 for interior design services on the new City
Hall. Commissioner Stenstrom moved to authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with Mar-
garet McCormick Interior Design, Inc. for same. Seconded by Commissioner McClanahan and
carried.
The Mayor stated that the committee compOSed of the City Manager, City Attorney,
Police Ch~ f, Police Administrative Aid, Personnel Dimector and himself recommended accep-
tance of the agreement negotiated with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also
stated that Mr. Otero had indicated EEoc and the complaining parties will approve the agree-
ment. Commissioner Morris moved to authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement, and the
payment of $9,241.32 to stipulated aggrieved parties. Seconded by Commissioner Keith and
carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
