The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 4:00 o'clock P. M. on August 3, 1977.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore
Commissioner John G.:~. Morris.
Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
Commissioner A. A. McClanahan
Commissioner Eddie O. Keith
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tatum, Jr.
Absent: City Attorney C. Vernon 'Mize, Jr.
Police Chief Ben E. Butler
The meeting was called to order by 'the Chairman.
The first item of business was consideration of the proposed 77-78 budget, as sub-
mitted by the City Manager.
The Commission authorized to delete line item "Vehicular Equipment, Additional"
from Culture, Recreation and Parks, in amount of $5,301.
The Commission authorized to delete line. item"Unemployment Compensation" in the
Insurance Division, in amount of $1,000.
The Commission authorized to add $1,200 to line item "Electric Expense" in Special
Projects Division.
The City Manager reported that the Seminole: County. Sheriff's Department was recep-
tive to acceptance of the Surveillance Aircraft, booking ~ and - performing major crime investi-
gations. ..
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
