MIDSTATE LEGAL SUPPLY COMPANY
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in
the City Hall in the City.of~Sanford, Florida, at 8:00~o'¢lock:P.,M. on~August~9, 1977.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Commissioner Stenstrom moved to instruct the City Attorney to investigate the com-
plaints made by persons to EEOC, charging discrimination by the City, to complete the City's
records, and determine if information should be turned over to the State's Attorney or Federal
District Attorney. Seconded by Commissioner McClanahan and carried.
The City Manager :reported that he had filed a complaint with PERC, against two po-
lice officers and the Orange County Police Benevolent Association, for stopping and question-
ing a city employee while working another job, after his regular City working hours.
The next item was discussion of the proposed 77-78 budget as submitted by the City
Manager. The City Manager was authorized to submit alternates for balancing the budget and
determine the amount of a 1% cost of living raise.
The Commission authorized to meet August 15, 1977 at 4:00 P. M. to consider the
proposed 77-78 budget.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
