The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon on August 24, 1977.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The City Manager submitted a list of vehicles recommended for use after regular
work hours, as follows:

Commissioner Morris moved to authorize same. Motion died for lack of a second.
Commissioner Stenstrom moved to table consideration of same. Seconded by Commis-
sioner Keith and carried over the dissenting vote of Commissioner Morris.
The next item of business was setting priorities to interview applicants for the
position?,0f Police Chief.
The Mayor announced that the Commission had designated priorities as follows:

Ray V. Waymire
Charles B. Fagan, Jr.

The Commission authorized the City Manager to set up interviews at 2:00 P. M. Mon-
day, September 2, 1977 with applicants numbers 1, 2 and 3, and, further, to pay the travel
expenses for same.
On recommendation of the City Manager, Commissioner McClanahan moved to authorize
payment in amount of $2,536.38 to Margaret McCormick Interiors, for interior design work on
the new City Hall. Seconded by Commissioner Stenstrom and carried.
There being no further business, the~eettng was adjourned.
