The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 4:00 o'clock P. M. on August 18, 1977.
Present: Acting Mayor-Commissioner A. A. McClanahan
Commissioner John G. Morris
Commissioner Eddie O. Keith
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tatum, Jr.
Absent: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore
~ Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
City Attorney C. Vernon Mize, Jr.

The meeting was called to order by .the 'Chairman.
The first:.·item of business was a public hearing held in accordance with notice
published August 15, 1977, to consider the proposed Airport AUthority 77-78 budget, as sub-
mitted by the Airport Manager. Commissioner Keith moved to approve the budget as submitted.
Seconded by Commisaioner 'Morris and car,ried.
Ms. Margaret McCormick, Margaret McCormick Interiors, Inc., interior designers,
submitted proposed floor plans, fabrics, furnishings, and wall and window coverings fOr the
new City Hall; also a preliminary budget. Commissioner Keith moved to authorize a $150,000
cap for budget planning purposes. Seconded by Commissioner Morris and carried.
The·. Commission requested Ms.~ McCormick to present a revised detailed budget within
the $150,000, bY Monday, AUgust ~22,~ 1977.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
