MIDSTATE LEGAL SUPPLY COMPANY
JulY 19, at 7:00 P. M.
The City CommiSsion of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. on July 19, 1978.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore
Commissioner John G. Morris
Commissioner Julian L. Stenstrom
Commissioner A. A.. McClanahan
Commissioner Eddie O. Keith
City ~nager W. E~ Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm,~ Jr.
Absent: .City A~torney C. Vernon Mize, Jr.
, The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
..... The CoLmnission continued discussion of various cost-saving ideas and authorized the
City Manager to obtain further information and report t,Q the Commission.
Commissioner Morris moved to authorize a fee of $20.00 for, each night game played,
to off-set the costs of electricity. Seconded by Commissioner McClanahan and motion failed
to carry over dissenting vote of Mayor Moore, Commissioner Stenstrom, Commissioner McClanahan
and Commissioner Keith.
Commissioner Stenstrom moved to authorize the Recreation Centers to be closed
at 5:00 P., M. each day, except when night activities are scheduled. Seconded by Commissioner
Keith. Motion failed to carry over dissenting votes of Mayor Moore, Commissioner McClanahan
and Commissioner Morris.
There being no fUrther business, the meeting was adjourned.
