AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: AN ORDINANCE MAKING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1947,
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 194e.

WHEREAS, The City Clerk has prepared and submitted
a budget of revenues and expenditures of the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1947, and
ending September 30, 1948, in accordance with Charter of sa1d
C1ty of Sanford, Florida, and upon considerat10n thereof said
budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved
as the budget of said C1ty for the fiscal year beg.1nning October
1, 1947, and ending September 30, 1948, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioners are of the op1nion that the
several items of expenditures for said fiscal year commencing
October 1, 1947, and ending September 30, 194e, are reasonable,
necessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of
said City and the proper conduct of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That said budget of revenues and expenditures
of sald City of Sanford, Florida, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1947, and ending September 30, 1948, approved by
Resolution of the City Commission of said City on the 23rdday
of September, 1947, a copy of which is hereto attached and hereby
made a part of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby ratified,
approved, confirmed, accepted and adopted.

Sectlon 2. That the sald estimates of expenditures be
and they are hereby established and flxed as appropriations from
the revenues to be derived by sald City of sanford, Florlda, from
taxes to be levied and colleoted, and from all other sources, for
the varlous purposes as set forth in the sald estimateR for the
said period beginn~ng October 1, 1947, and endlng September 30,
1948.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinanoe shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
