ORDINANCE NO. 416
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES
DESIGNATING TIME AS EASTERN WAR TIME
SO AS TO READ EASTERN STANDARD TIME.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City
of Sanford, Florida, has heretofore passed and adopted
ordinances of said City designating time therein
referred to as Eastern War Time and Eastern Standard
Time has been again adopted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE
OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That all ordinances heretofore
passed and adopted by the City Commission of the City of
Sanford, Florida, in which time therein referred to is
designated as Eastern War Time are hereby amended 80 as
to designate the time therein referred to as Eastern
Standard Time instead of Eastern War Time.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances ln conflict herewith, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this~ 12th day of May, 1947.

Sanford, Florida, hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 416, PASSED and
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the C1ty of Sanford,
Florida, on the 12th day of May, 1947, was POSTED at
the front door of the City Hall in the C1ty of Sanford,
Flor1da, th1s 14th day of May, 1947.
