AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, FORBIDDING THE ISSUANCE OF A
LICENSE FOR ANY BUSINES~ OR PROFESSION
IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, FOR
WHICH CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION TO
CONDUCT SUCH BUSINESS OR PROFESSION IS
REQUIRED TO BE OBTAINED FROM ANY AUTHORITY,
BOARD OR AGENCY OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA
OR CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, UNTIL SUCH
CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION HAS BEEN
OBTAINED.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from and after the 30th day of
September, 1947, no license for any business or profession
to be conducted in the City of Sanford, Florida, and for
which a certificate of qualification is required to be obtained
from any authority, board or agency of the State of Florida,
or City of Sanford, Florida, shall be issued to any person,
firm or corporation until such certificate of qualification
has been obtained and the City Tax Collector is authorized
to require the production of such certificate of qualification
before issuing said license.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parte of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
