ORDINANCE NO. 411
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 362 OF SAID CITY, PASSED
AND ADOPTED ON THE 26TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1944,
SAID ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A ZOHING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, SAID
AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN
DISTRICT ~l (ONE SINGLE FAMILY) TO DISTRICT
C-2 (COMMERCIAL-INDUSTRIAL) IN SAID CITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted on the 26th day of
December, 1944, and entitled "An Ord,inance Establishing A
Zoning Plan Within The City of Sanford, Creating Nine (9)
Districts, Regulating and Restricting The Location And Use
Of Buildings, Structures, Land And Water For Trade, Industry,
Residence Or Other PUrpOR€S, The Height and Size Of structures,
And Size Of Open Spaces For Light And Ventilation; Adopting A
Map Of Said Districts; Defining Terms Used; Providing For The
Adjustment, Enforcement And Amendment Thereof; And Prescribing
Penal ties For Violation", be and the same is hereby amend,ed
as follows:
The property zoned In District R-l,
(One Single Family), described as the North
one-half of Blocks 3 of Tiers 19, 20, 21 and
22 of E.R. Trafford's Map, and Beglnning
at Southwest corner of North and South
Quarter Section line of Section 26, Township
19 South, Range 30 East, thence run South
along said section line 1)6.1 feet, East to
west line of Persimmon Avenue, North to point
of beginning, said property being located on
the south side of West First Street and extending
from west line of City limits east to Jessamine
Avenue, is t~ansferred to District 0-2 (Commercial-
Industrial)

Section 2. Thatall ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
