FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 310 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, OF 1914 AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 398, PASSED AND ADOPTED
ON THE 9TH DAY OF SEPT8MHER, 1946,

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF 'f:IE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 310 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Sanford, of 1914, as amended
by Ordinance No. 398, passed and adopted on the 9th day
of September, 1946, be and the same is hereby amended
so as to read aa follows:
Section 310. BUTCHER PENS, SLAUGHTER
HOUSES, ABATTOIR~, SLAUGHTERING ANIMALS,
AND OFFAL. It shall be unlawful for
any person to keep a butcher pen 0P slaughter
h()use or abattoir or slaughter any

cattle, sheep, g)ata 011 hogs 1;1 the
limits of th~ City of Sanford, or to
deposit on any street or alley, or on
his own lot or on the lot of another
or on any wharf or on the lake shore
within the limits of the city any flesh,
fish or offal of any klnd, or any
offensive matter calcu12t~d t~ annpy
any citi~en, or to endanger public
health. Any person violating any of the
provisions of this section shall upon
conviction thereof in the Municipal
Court, be punished by fine of not
exceeding $200.00 or by im9ri~onment
for not more than ninety days or by
~

both fine and imprisonment at the
discretion of the municipal judge.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict witn this ordinance be and
the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordiance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
Passed and adopted this 25th day of
November, 1946.
