ORDINANCE NO. 400
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: AN ORDINANCE MAKING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
FOR THE FISCAL YFAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1946,
AND ENDING SEPTEJdBER 30, 1947.
WHEREAS, The City Clerk has prepared and submitted
a budget of revenues and expendltures of the City of Sanford,
Florida, for the flsca1 year beginning October 1, 1946, and
ending Sp,ptember 30, 1947, in accordance wl th Cha.rter of said
City of Sanford, Florida, and upon consideration thereof said
budget of revenues and expenditures was adopted and approved
as the budget of said City for the fiscal year beginning October
1, 1946, and ending September 30, 1947, end
WHEREAS, The Commissioners are of the opinion that the
several items of expenditures for said fisoal year commencing
October 1, 1946, and ending September 30, 1947, are reasonable,
neoessary and proper for the administration of the affairs of
said City and the proper conduct of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That sa.id budget of revenues and expenditures
of said City of Sanford, Florida, for the fisoal year beginning
October 1, 1946, and ending September 30, 1947, approved by
Resolution of the City Commission of said C1ty on the 23rd day
of September, 1946, a copy of which is hereto attaohed and hereby
made a part of this ordinance, be and the same 1s hereby ratifled,
approved, confirmed, accepted end adopted.
Section 2. The.t the said e9timates of expend! tures be
and they are hereby established and fixed as eppropriations from
the reVenueR to be derived by said City of Sanford, Florida, from
taxes to be levied and cOl1eoted, and from all other sources, for
the various purposes as Bet forth in the said estimates for the
said period beginning October 1, 1946, qnd ending September 30,
191~7 .
Section 3. That ell ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall beoome effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of September, 1946.
