Board on Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at 6:00 P.M. in the School Board Me~ing Room, Educational Support Center, 400 E. Lake
Mary Boulevard, Sanford, Florida.

Chairman Robinson called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss
a proposed land swap and any other business.
Attendees received a booklet entitled "Joint Work Session between the City of Sanford and Seminole County
Public Schools {Proposed Property Exchange}" dated March 20, 2001. City Manager VanDerworp briefly reviewed the
proposal to exchange a city-owned 13.14 acre site at 601 East 251h Street for a school board-owned 8.6 acre site south of the --
Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium and east of Chase Park.
Deputy City Manager Roger Dixon read the proposal into the record.
The City Commission and the School Board discussed the proposal, and concurred that both hoards' staffs get
together and work out a proposal to accomplish the interests of each, to be submitted to each hoard for further consideration.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
