The Board of Adjustment of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in
Regular Session in the City Commission Chambers of the City Hall
at 11:30 a.m. on September 9, 1988.
Members Present:
W.M. Philips
Larry Blair
Joe Schaeffer
Members Absent: Garnett White
B.L. Perkins
Others Present: Gary Winn
The meeting was called to order at 11:35 a.m. by the Acting
Chairman, W.M. Philips.
The following letter was submitted for consideration:

Sanford, FL 32771
Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting a variance in the Zoning Ordinance.
Address: 316 S. French Avenue
Legal Description: The South 18.29' of Lot 3 & the North 38.09'
of Lot 4, Block 5, Tier 9, E.R. Trafford's map of the Town of
Sanford, according to PB 1 PGS 56 -64, Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida
Zoning Classification: GC -2
Rear Yard Requirements: 10 feet
Variance Needed: 10 feet
The planned use of the property is for Retail Sales.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Andrew Kutz, Architect for Andrews, Inc., was present to
represent the request. He advised the Board that Mr. Vogel wants
to close up the vacant lot by adding another section of building
between the laundramat and the glass & paint store.
Mr. Winn stated that he had no objection to the work being
performed.
