Wednesday, November 13, 2002 6:30 PM
City Commission Conference Room
PRESENT: Jim Kidd, Dean Ray, Nancy Roberts, Tom Carpenter, Oscar Redden,
Kim Bridges, and Gracy Posley
Absent: Excused – Dave Daly & Dr. Brenedette Hardy -Blake
Unexcused – Juanita Harold & Dave Hall
Miss Posley advised members Police Chief Tooley was not present due to the double
homicide shooting which took place earlier this afternoon.
Called to Order by Chairperson Mr. Kidd. Mr. Kidd requested Minutes of October 9
and corrected Minutes of August 14, 2002 be adopted if there were no changes.
Motioned by Mr. Ray, seconded by Mr. Redden; Minutes were approved.
Mr. Kidd has accepted a manager's position in Miami with Delta Airlines cargo; he will
commute to his family in Sanford on weekends. He stated he would like to continue his
CAB membership and would put forth an effort to attend the meeting monthly.
Mr. Carpenter (vice- chairperson) was asked by Mr. Kidd and accepted to chair CAB
meetings through April 2003 when the chairperson /vice- chairperson election is held.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 pm.
