PRESENT: Mark McCarty, David Daly, Katheryn Alexander, Betty Jack, Helen Mausser, Brian Tooley -
Chief of Police and Gracy Posley
Absent: Excused — Dr. Brenedette Hardy- Blake, Mark Russi, Agnes Knighton and Nancy Roberts
Audience: Lester and Anna McCollough
Called to Order by Mr. McCarty. Mr. McCarty requested the Minutes of March 11, 2009 be tabled due to
there not being a quorum.
Chief Tooley introduced the much experienced Nick Mcray, Sr. Project Manager for the public safety complex
project. Mr. Mcray answered questions pertaining to the project and had on display a model of the two -story
public safety complex that will be constructed on six acres at 13 Street and Lake Avenue. Extensive
preservation of trees has been retained. A few gems of the complex include a community meeting room
available to the public, an SPD and SFD museum, streetscape with raised red brick, much natural lighting in the
building. The building will be able to withstand winds up to 150 MPH. Plan should be at 100% by April 17
Groundbreaking is scheduled for June 2009.
Old Business
Mrs. Alexander — Patrol has monitored/been observant regarding homeless sleeping in Coastline Park. No
homeless have been located there. The yellow car has not been seen at the park. Officers will continue to
monitor.

actively working the suspect who did confess to fondling a ten year old
