The Board of Adjustment met at 11:30 A.M. to consider the following request.

Gentlemen,
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting
variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to side yard setback requirements
in MR -2 zoned district.
Legal description Lot 7 & N. 55' Lot 8, Blk 7, Tr D, Town of Sanford.
Property location 503 Hickory Ave.
The planned use of the property is addition to church.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Smith, Clerk of the church, was present to represent the request. The
plan presented to the Board showed a 122 ft. variance would be needed. After
discussion regarding the required setback of 20', it was agreed that a 122 ft.
variance would not allow ample room for fire equipment accessibility. Mr. White
moved to approve a 72 ft. variance. Mr. Karns seconded. Motion carried.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
