The Board of Adjustment met at 11:30 A.M. to consider the following
request:
Board of Adjustment
City Hall
Sanford, FL
Gentlemen;
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to
rear yard setback requirements in RI -1 Zoned District.
• Legal description west 80' Block 5, Tier 12, E.R. Trafford's.
Property location 315 Poplar Ave. The planned use of the property
is Laundromat and other retail stores.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Brantley was present to represent the request and explained he
wants to build to bring the new construction in line with present
building and needs a 15' variance. Mr. Karns moved to approve.
Mr. Blair seconded. Motion carried.
The next request was submitted by a letter from Mr. William J. Fren,
2205 Cordova Drive, requesting a variance for an open carport. There
was no one present to represent the request, this item was tabled until
some plans are received and a representative present. It will be placed
on the agenda for June 9, 1978. There being no further business, the
meeting was adjourned. Mr. Philips arrived after adjournment.
