Execution of the Work Order by the CITY shall serve as authorization for the
CONSULTANT to provide for the above project, professional services as set out in the
Scope of Services attached as Exhibit "A," to that certain Agreement of Wavfindinq
Services between the CITY and the CONSULTANT and further delineated in the
specifications, conditions and requirements stated in the following listed documents
which are attached hereto and made a part hereof.

The CONSULTANT shall provide said services pursuant to this Work Order, its
attachments and the above-referenced Agreement, which is incorporated herein by
reference as if it had been set out in its entirety. Whenever the Work Order conflicts
with said Agreement, the Agreement shall prevail.
TIME FOR COMPLETION: The work authorized by this Work Order shall be
commenced upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed by the CITY and shall be completed
within eiQht months ( 240) calendar days.
METHOD OF COMPENSATION:
(a) This Work Order is issued on a:
[] FIXED FEE BASIS
[] TIME BASIS METHOD WITH A NOT-TO- EXCEED
AMOUNT
[X] TIME BASIS METHOD WITH A LIMITATION OF FUNDS
AMOUNT
(b) If the compensation is based on a "Fixed Fee Basis," then the
CONSULTANT shall perform all work required by this Work Order for the sum of
DOLLARS ($ ). In no event shall the
CONSULTANT be paid more than the Fixed Fee Amount.
(c) If the compensation is based on a "Time Basis Method" with a Not-to-
Exceed Amount, then the CONSULTANT shall perform all work required by this Work
Order for a sum not exceeding DOLLARS
($ ). The CONSULTANT'S compensation shall be based on the actual
work required by this Work Order.
(d) If the compensation is based on a "Time Basis Method" with a Limitation
of Funds Amount, then the CONSULTANT is not authorized to exceed the Limitation of
Funds amount of THIRTY-FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS ($34,000), PLUS DIRECT
COSTS, without prior written approval of the CITY. Such approval, if given by the
CITY, shall indicate a new Limitation of Funds amount. The CONSULTANT shall
advise the CITY whenever the CONSULTANT has incurred expenses on this Work
Order that equals or exceeds eighty percent (80%) of the Limitation of Funds amount.
The CITY shall compensate the CONSULTANT for the actual work performed under
this Work Order.
(e) Payment to the CONSULTANT shall be made by the CITY in strict
accordance with the payment terms of the above-referenced Agreement.

(f) It is expressly understood by the CONSULTANT that this Work Order,
until executed by the CITY, does not authorize the performance of any services by the
CONSULTANT and that the CITY, prior to its execution of the Work Order, reserves the
right to authorize a party other than the CONSULTANT to perform the services called
for under this Work Order if it is determined that to do so is in the best interest of the
CITY.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed this Work
Order on the respective dates und~ each signature: the CITY through its City
Commssion taking action on the ~ day of October- , 200~? and the
CONSULTANT signing by and through its duly authorized corporate officer having the
full and complete authority to execute same.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
PART I - Vehicular & Pedestrian Wayfinding (GJ 20568)
1.1 Project Coordination - In addition to the specific services detailed below, Glatting Jackson shall
coordinate our work with the Client's representative and the Client's project team, monitor the
project schedule as it relates to the scope contained herein, and provide timely invoicing and
reporting of proj ect progress.
1.2 Design Intent Workshop - Glatting Jackson will attend a one (1) two-hour workshop with the
Client to coordinate schedule, develop a shared vision and theme, establish a preliminary project
budget and understand the Client's program for coordinating our work with the work of other
consultants. The result of the workshop will be a defined design vocabulary that will include:
thematic attitude, market positioning, wayfinding goals, and target clientele. This will guide the
future preliminary schematic design phase of the work.
1.3 Project Program Document - Glatting Jackson shall conduct an image and wayfinding analysis
of the site including comparable downtowns, and work done to date to gather pertinent
information such as project character, graphic image development, architectural features,
historical elements, traffic circulation, priority destinations and applicable City codes. Based on
the analysis and Client input, Glatting Jackson will prepare a Project Program document that will
address:
. A review of proposed parking and wayfinding methodology
. A list of proposed terminology
. A list of proposed key sign types
. Expectations of ongoing maintenance requirements of sign types
. Preliminary budgetary guidelines for the cost of implementing the system
. Preliminary signage master location plan
. Review of construction, durability and materials selection
Deliverables - As a result of these tasks, Glatting Jackson shall produce the following:
. Five (5) 11 x 17" c%r copies of the Project Program Document
1.4 Client Review of Project Program Document - The Client will review the Project Program
Document and provide a consolidated set of written review comments to Glatting Jackson.
Glatting Jackson will meet with the Client to review the comments and agree upon changes to be
incorporated into the next part of the work. Additional revisions requested by the Client shall be
provided as an Additional Service.
1.5 Schematic Design - Based on the theme and design vocabulary developed in the Project Program
document Glatting Jackson shall prepare signage schematic design documents for the Client.
These schematic design documents will include:
. Palette of signage with proposed dimensions, materials and finishes, comparable images and
illustrations (freehand or electronic)

Specifically, Glatting Jackson will prepare schematic design documents for the following
wayfinding, graphic and placemaking elements:
. Vehicular directional signs
. Parking signs
. DistrictlNeighborhood Gateway signs (unique per district)
. Retail Blade signs
. Pedestrian directional signs
. Kiosk (pedestrian map design is additional service)
. District Icons
1.6 Client Review Meeting - The Client will review the schematic design and statement of probable
cost, the wayfinding master plan, and the directional signs and other design documents and
provide a consolidated set of written review comments and the construction budget to Glatting
Jackson. Glatting Jackson will proceed with the design Intent Bid documents phase ofthe work,
incorporating the Client's review comments into plans during the next phase of the work.
Additional revisions or concepts requested by the Client shall be provided as an Additional
Service.
Deliverables - As a result of these tasks, Glatting Jackson shall produce the following:
. One (1) set of the design intent workshop documents
. Five (5) 11 x 17" color copies of the Schematic Design Documents
. Six (6) 30 x 42" laminated boards of way finding sign designs
1.7 Sign Master Plan and FDOT Coordination - Glatting Jackson will prepare the necessary
documents for PDOT approval of the Sign Master Plan in accordance with district requirements.
Glatting Jackson will attend one (1) half-day meetings with the PDOT staff over the course of the
design intent bid documents phase to coordinate our work. '
1.8 Client Review - The Client will review the draft Signage Standards Manual and provide a
consolidated set of written review comments to Glatting Jackson. Minor revisions will be
incorporated into the final bid drawings. Major revisions requested by the Client will be provided
as Additional Services.
1.9 Design Intent Bid Documents - Glatting Jackson will prepare the Design Intent Bid Documents,
incorporating Client review comments into the final document.
Deliverables - As a result of these tasks, Glatting Jackson shall produce the following:
. One (1) set of the Design Intent Bid Drawings
. One (1) 8.5" x 11 " copy of the Statement of Probable Cost
. One (1) electronic copy of all graphics as required for fabricator or contractor bidding
1.10 Additional Services - Glatting Jackson will provide Additional Services as mutually agreed upon
between Glatting' Jackson and the Client. This may include Construction Administration for
signage, additional meetings, pedestrian directional signs, changes in scope or budget, Value
Engineering revisions, special graphics or other services not included in this scope.
