The Board of Adjustment met to consider the following requests.

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in
requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to rear
yard setback to rear property line, in RC -1 Zoned District. Legal
• description, Lots 46 & 47, Pinehurst, 1st Add'n. PB 5, Pg 79, located
at 1910 French Ave.
The planned use of the property is retail center addition for storage
only.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. Dave Farr was present to represent the owner. The plans showed
a variance of 12' would be needed to meet the required 15 ft. set-
back, leaving only 3 ft to the property line. It was the feeling of
the Board that the builder was creating a hardship by overbuilding.
After discussion, Mr. Karns moved to grant a 72 ft. variance, leaving
71/2 ft. to the property line. Mr. White seconded. Motion carried un-
animously.

Legal description: From the center of Section 7, Township 20 South,

of SW4 of Said Section 7 a distance of 621.47 ft., thence run
• S. 0 deg. 36' 56" W., 25.00 ft. for a Point of Beginning, thence
continue S. 0 deg. 36' 56" W. along the West Right -of -Way line of
the ACL Railroad, a distance of 502.45 ft. to a Point on a curve
concave Northwesterly having a radius of 454.84 ft. and a tangent
bearing at said point of S. 18 deg. 39' 22" W., thence run South-
westerly along said curve a distance of 383.55 ft. through a cen-
tral angle of 48 deg. 18' 56 ", thence run N. 0 deg. 14' 08" W.
parallel to the East line of the SW4 of said Section 7, a distance
of 775.52 ft. thence run East 261.50 ft. to the Point of Beginning.
Said parcel contains 4.000 acres.
Property location at intersection of Cornwall Rd. and Atlantic
Coast Line RR spur.
The planned use of the property is manufacturing - industrial re-
cycling plant.

Mr. McIntosh was present to discuss the request and after dis-
cussion Mr. Karns moved to grant a 0' setback on the east side,
adjacent to the railroad. Mr. Blair seconded. Motion carried
