Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment met to consider the following letter
submitted for consideration.

Sanford, FL
Gentlemen,
I am submitting the following information for your consideration
in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains
to front yard setback requirements in MR -2 Zoned District.
• Legal description Blk 10, Tr 6, Lot 4, Town of Sanford.
Property location 814 Myrtle Ave.
The planned use of the property is addition of porch.
Any consideration given this request will be appreciated.

Mr. & Mrs. Stewart were present to represent the request, and
a variance of 11 ft. is required for the addition to add to the
non - conforming use. After discussion, Mr. White moved to grant
the variance, Mr. Blair seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. Braceland presented the fact that the State Statute which
regulates advertising has caused a scheduling problem which
often results in a meeting each Friday, with one application
to consider. It was agreed that an established meeting date
would be beneficial to both members and the public. It was
decided that the Board of Adjustment will hold a meeting on
the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, and members will be
notified as in the past.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
