The Board of Adjustment met to consider the following request:

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your consideration in
requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to side
yard setback requirements in GC -2 zoned district.
Legal description: Begin at point 106.67 ft. S. 0 deg. 13' 30" E. of
the NW corner of Blk 1, Spurling Heights, and the W line of said Blk
1, Run S 37 deg. 04' 12" E. 110.66 ft; thence run S. 69 deg. 17' 38" E.
• 57.89 ft. to westerly ROW line of Orlando Drive; thence run southerly on
said westerly ROW along a curve having a radius of 1324.96 ft. a central
angle of 3 deg. 35' 58" an are distance of 83.24 ft. thence run S 42 deg.
25' 30" W. 97.40 ft. to the west line of said Blk 1, thence run N. 0 deg.
13' 30" W. 243.83 ft. to POB. Property location NE corner of Park Drive
and Oak Ave.(Across Park Dr. from present Smitly's Snappin' Turtle)
The planned use of the property is a new building for Smitty's Snappin'
Turtle (mower shop)

Mr. Tom Freeman was present to represent the request with the lessee,
Mr. Smith. After discussion and study of the plan, Mr. Karns moved to
grant the 5 -ft. variance, with the restriction that the water runoff
from roof be retained on the property above.
