Special Meeting
August 30, 1974
410 The Board of Adjustment met in special session at the City Hall
at 11:30 A. M. on August 30, 1974.
Members Present:
B. L. Perkins, Chairman
Robert Karns
W. M. Philips

Members Absent:

Bill Braceland, Building Official
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Mr. Edward J. Lachtara submitted the following letter for
consideration.

Gentlemen:
I am submitting the following information for your con-
sideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as
it pertains to side yard setback requirements in SR -1 Zoned
District in Lot 1, Block 2, Sen Sem Knolls, 1st Addition, Plat '
Book 13, Page 65. Being more specifically described as located
at 1902 Marshall Ave. The planned use of the property is to b uild
a 20' X 20' boat and car port. Any consideration given this re-
quest will be appreciated.

I ; Mr. Lachtara was present and explained that he needs a variance
of 8' from property line to end of carport on 19th & Court, on
north side of property, where he plans to add a free - standing
double carport. After discussion and a few questions, Mr. White
moved to grant the variance, seconded by Mr. Karns. :Motion
410 carried. No - one appeared in opposition..
