Members Present: B. L. Perkins, Chairman Robert Karns W. M. Philips W. Garnett White Larry D. Blair Others Present: Bill Braceland, Building Official Al Payne, Zoning Director. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman. Mrs. Brigitte Andres submitted the following letter for consideration. Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, Florida 411 Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Swimming Pool Ordinance as it pertains to rear yard setback requirements in SR -1A Zoned District. The legal description being: Lot 1, Block A, Sanora, Units 1 and 2, PB 17, Pg. 11 & 12. Property location, 101 Sanora Boulevard. The planned use of the property is for a swimming pool. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: Brigitte Andres Owner 101 Sanora Blvd. P.O. Box 421 Sanford, Fla. Mr. Braceland, Building Official, explained the swimming pool ordinance calls for a 10 -ft. setback, and the applicant re- quires a 5 -ft. variance on three property linesides. Property is located in Sanora and has a block wall around property. After discussion, Mr. Philips moved to grant a 5 -ft. variance, 411 seconded by Mr. White, motion carried unanimously. No one appeared in opposition. Board of Adjustment 1 August 9, 1974 Page 2 410 The following letter was next submitted to the Board for con- sideration: Board of Adjustment City Hall Sanford, Florida Gentlemen: I am submitting the following information for your consideration in requesting variance in the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to front yard setback requirements in GC -2 Zoned District. Legal description: Lots 5 thru 10, Orange Heights, Amended Plat. Property location: East side of French Avenue, between 15th and 18th Streets. The planned use of the property is Remote Bank Facility. Any consideration given this request will be appreciated. Signed: John Krider, Agent P. 0. Box 2102 Sanford, Fla. Mr. John Krider showed the plan to the Board members, and explained that it will be an Atlantic National Bank remote facility, with a planned 300 -ft. frontage. Future plans require a 17 -ft. variance to allow construction of a Remote Teller 8 -ft. from the front prop- erty line. The School Board is the nearest building, and they are in favor of this facility. After consideration, it was decided to grant the request with the stipulation that "No Left Turn" be placed at French Ave. exit. Mr. Karns made a motion that with the stipulation, the request be granted, Mr. Philips seconded, motion carried by majority. Mr. White abstained. No one appeared in opposition.
